Traditional art is characterized by a mixture of beauty and utility. Art for pure art’s sake and museums do not exist.  Artistic expression and artistic works shape people’s everyday surroundings. Truth is reflected everywhere, creating a universe filled with meaning. Beauty is not experienced as a subjective state, but is inextricably linked to reality. Beauty is associated with the qualities of infinity, perfection and goodness. Beauty has the potential to dissolve the hardening of the human soul. Beauty is the occasion for remembering unity and thus the means of knowledge. The beauty of traditional artistic expression can remind the human soul of its origins – and this has a healing effect on it.
