Silsile
Silsile is the spiritual “golden” chain of power transmission that plays a central role in all Tarikats (Sufi religious orders). Through them, the founders of a order (Pir) gain their authority – through a backwards reconstruction back to the Prophet Mohammed.
Ahmed Hüsâmeddin Dagestânî was born in the North Caucasus, in Dagestan, in the city of Rükkal. He grew up in the Hicaz region and his presence can be found throughout Anatolia (Sivrihisar, Ankara, Bursa and Istanbul). Ahmed Efendi came from the 27th generation of the Prophet's family. He bore the honorary title of Seyyid, Efendi lived in the last period of the Ottoman Empire and was Grand Master of the Naqshbandi-Mujaddidi Sufi Order.
AHMED HÜSÂMEDDİN DAĞISTANÎ’

Ahmed Celâleddin Baykara Dede was born in the city of Gallipoli, into a Mevlevi dynasty. He was Mevlevi Sheikh, poet, Neyzen and Mesnevihan. It is considered one of the most important sources for the tradition of the culture and history of the Mevlevis in the 19th and 20th centuries. Dede took over the leadership of the Mevlevihane in Üsküdar for two years and then he headed the Galata Mevlevihane in Istanbul, where he was the last Şeyh, remained until the lodge was closed in 1925.

Fazıl Güven was born in Kütahya and was trained as a religious scholar and had the profession of an imam. He played the violin and one of his skills was memorizing the Quran. He had also studied Rumis Mesnevi. He was a realized Sufi master, disciple of Ahmed Hüsameddin Efendi and the first master of R.Oruç Güvenç.

Ziyâ Kuldur Efendi
was Şeyh of the Sa'dî order and had the license to teach four other tarikats: Kâdirî, Rufâ'î, Uşşâkî, Bektâşî. Oruç Güvenç received permission to teach all five tarikats (religious paths) from Ziya Efendi.

Turgut Baba was the last student of the last Grandmaster Ahmed Celâleddîn Dede at Galata Mevlevi Hane. In the center of his teaching was the philosophy of unity (Vahdet-i vücûd) and the unity of all religions. Turgut Baba grew up near the Kaaba and was fluent in Arabic, French, Turkish, English and Persian. In addition to Tasavvuf, he studied both Eastern exegetes and Western philosophical approaches and was close to 'Ishraqi' philosophy.
Turgut Söylemzoglu Baba
Dr. Rahmi Oruç Güvenç was born on July 28, 1948 in Tavşanlı, western Turkey, and met his first master Fazıl Güven at the age around thirteen. Oruç spent six years together with Fazıl Bey until his transition to the other world. His second master was Turgut Baba, whom he met in Istanbul in his later years, visited him regularly and lived with him for two years. Guided by a dream, Oruç Güvenç met the Sa'dî master Ziyâ Efendi, from whom he was also given the authority to teach the tarikats: Sa'dî, Uşşâkî, Bektaşî, Kâdirî and Rufâ'î. Furthermore, Oruç Bey received the teaching license of the Mevlevî order through Abdurrahman Yünel.
